Accessibility:Lifts are available to all floors. Row J of Screen 1 does not require climbing stairs and has dedicated space for wheelchairs and walkers.

The Picturehouse Chester Cinema is part of the Northgate development and is located above the New Chester Market in Exchange Square, off Hunter Street. Entrance is through the glass automatic doors into a foyer with stairs and a lift.  Free refreshments are served from 2pm in the first-floor café-bar. The meeting is held in Screen 1 on the third floor.

Getting there

There are nearby bus stops for several services at the Bull and Stirrup and on Delamere Street. Chester Bus Exchange is a 10-minute walk away. The Upton (Zoo) Park and Ride (PR3) stops on Delamere Street. An adult day ticket costs £2.50 but up to five people travelling together can get a group ticket for £5.

Parking

The most convenient parking is at the adjacent New Market Multi-storey Car Park, which offers direct access into Exchange Square. Other options are Delamere Street Car Park and parking at the Tesco Superstore on Frodsham Street (free for 4 hours if you spend over £15 in Tesco). There is on-street parking for blue badge holders on Hamilton Place and Goss Street.
