Tree Hunter Rob McBride embarked upon an epic adventure to walk the 177 miles of Offa's Dyke and to find and record the incredible trees he came across. He thought it might take him three weeks to complete. How wrong he was!
Thirteen years later, Rob completed the first ever ancient tree survey of a National Trail. Along the way, he filmed with BBC Countryfile five times whilst progressing along what he likes to call the Linear Nature Reserve that is Offa's Dyke. As well as enjoying the unique 'Treescape', Rob met and interviewed many local people along the Path. It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and he likes to sum up the adventure in three words ... Trees, People, Culture.
