Shaun Higgins will present his one-man show about the heroes of the Battle of Britain and WW2
This special event will be held in the Storyhouse Garret Theatre and replaces our normal Tuesday meeting at Northgate Church.

We are delighted to welcome back Oswestry actor and playwright Shaun Higgins, who gave us such a memorable evocation of Wilfred Owen last year. Shaun will bring to life hidden stories of heroism from men and women who fought in the Battle of Britain and WW2. Described as a “vibrant and gripping theatrical monologue”, it recounts tales of bravery and, ultimately, sacrifice with a delicate blend of humour and pathos.
Shaun has a master’s degree in creative writing from Chester University and is currently studying for a PhD at Sheffield University. In the past ten years he has been involved in more than forty productions, from Shakespeare to pantomime.
