When Pirates Rules the Waves: Brian Cullen grew up in the 60's living on The Wirral and listening to Radio Caroline North as she boomed
pop music from her anchorage just off the Isle of Man. Brian 'caught' the radio bug and has managed to carve out a reasonable broadcasting career working as a presenter for the BBC and various commercial radio stations. Now things have come full circle as he hosts a weekly radio show for 'Radio Caroline Flashback'. which broadcasts on-line and via smart speakers around the world and plays music from the 50's to the 80's. Brian classes himself as a 'radio anorak' and has accumulated a variety of photographs and audio clips about Radio Caroline in the 60's which he shared with us in his talk.
