Ian Hymes presented to more than 170 members and guests an illustrated talk about an eclectic mix of places and people associated with the City of Chester. Most of the topics dated from between 50 to 200 years ago. They featured some in-depth revelations about notable local individuals and groups and also associated locations of historical interest in and around the City.  Whilst some of the aspects covered might have been within living memory for some, others were seen as enlightening some interesting relics of the past.
