Liverpool-born pianist Andrew Wilde returned to Chester u3a to delight a hundred of us with a selection of evergreen classical pieces, waltzes and sonatas written for the piano by much-loved composers including Chopin, Mozart and Beethoven. Andrew chatted to us about the pieces and their composers. There was an opportunity to ask questions about the music and about Andrew's earliest piano studies growing up in Liverpool, his life at the famous Chetham's School of Music in Manchester and at the Royal Northern College of Music which prepared him for his prize-winning international career.
