Further French meets on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 10.00a.m. till 12 noon

Group meetings are conducted in French, and prospective members will need to feel confident with written and spoken French. An O Level or similar, or alternatively recent experience of speaking and / or writing French, is desirable. Enthusiasm is more important than accuracy. We look at French news articles, discuss current events and the arts and on more serious days we might have vocabulary and grammar tests.

No special equipment required - just a pen and paper. No finance necessary for the group as we do not incur any expenses. Tea and coffee and a nice biscuit is provided by the meeting's host - again on a rotational basis. Members take it in turn to host, lead and set the subject/agenda

The coordinator communicates with the group mainly by email. We take turns to provide the venue in our own houses on a rotational basis. Some members share car journeys when appropriate.
