Renew your membership

Your membership expires annually on 31 August. Please renew during August to help us update our records. We hope that you continue to enjoy the benefits of Chester U3A and look forward to welcoming you to our meetings and events for many years to come.

The current full membership fee is £12 per person per year. If you are a member of another u3a and pay a full member fee to them, you are eligible for Associate Membership in Chester u3a at the reduced rate of £8 per person per year. However if you were a full member of Chester u3a last year the system will assume that you will pay at the full rate for the coming year.  If you wish to change to being an Associate Member please contact the Membership Secretary.

There are three ways you can renew your membership:

  1. On-line: using the Chester U3A My Portal to the Beacon system. This is our preferred method because it reduces our costs and saves time for the membership secretary and the treasurer, For help with this process, you can watch a short (2.5 minute) video here.

2. Bank transfer to our account as follows:

Payment reference: XXXX (all membership number(s) if you are paying for more than 1 member)

3. Post

Send your cheque payable to 'Chester U3A' to Membership Secretary, PO Box 167, Chester CH1 9FB.

Please quote your membership number(s) on the reverse of the cheque.

If your contact details have changed, please ensure that you let us know, either by using My Portal or by contacting the Membership Secretary .
